Repainting a new car IMO devalues it so better off taking a depreciation hit and getting a new car rather than spending $5k+ on a quality paint job for no reason other than you don't like the color of the factory paint. I don't know about pricing where OP is, but at a US body shop i'd expect to a correctly done color change to start at $10,000. Don't forget about all the extras places that need painted on a color change, which are also some of the hardest to prep correctly.
OP Do you have costs for repaint already?
