You might ask around. In the last month I've taken two people out that saw their first ever eagles and got decent pictures of them to boot. Both of them live within five-miles of where I showed them the eagles. Neither had any idea that they were so common and easy to see around here.
Eagles can take quite warm weather. I see them in Florida occasionally in winter.
