The original A048's were garbage. I had a free set sent to me for evaluation. Ran a set of 285/30/18's on my BSP E36M3.
They sucked for Solo 2, were barely stickier than the top street tires at that time and as I mentioned before were downright nasty loud on the street. I gave them away. Only tire I ever chucked.
As soon as I can finally get my car to the track I'll do a write up on the new Yoko A052's. They are proven to be faster than the re71r's for Solo 2 work and the few people I've seen online that have tracked then concur.
setup is 18x10's with 265/35 and 295/35's..
