Its funny they remind me of the old Yoko A048's which were unbearable on the street and sucked even more for track work...
One hell of a autocross track tire if you can tolerate the noise. I wish they made the BFG Rival 1.5's in more sizes for our cars. Those are really quiet, ride better and perform just as well as the RE71R's

The 71R is the best road/track tire ever invented, despite the noise.
The comp A048 is utterly fantastic when used properly...and with the weight to carry it...which a Miata will not have.
