It's mentioned in the last paragraph of the first post. They probably used lithium battery and BMW states it reduced weight by 14kg or 31lbs. |
Considering the amount/cost of carbon fiber or other materials needed to offset 31 pounds, why wouldn't BMW just make this battery stock on all M models? Seems like a very inexpensive way to shave 31 pounds.
