Ordering a multi-course menu (package for a global price) proposed by the restaurant, is normally less expensive than ordering the same courses
à la carte. And the food may be more fresh (better availability) and quicker prepared.
Predefined package(d) (rather loaded) = less choice for the customer to personalize = more efficiency at the factory = lower production cost.
Also: M3 = cash cow. M2 profits and publicity may be less, percentage wise (production cost versus MSRP).
