2) the M3/4 doesn't sound like that at all from the inside or outside

j/k - but #2 is correct. M3/4 is pronounced.... it just doesn't have a traditional sound. Its very raw, unrefined, and angry sounding which I actually like. It also has nice shifting sounds and burbles.
That m2 clip is way too quiet and has no character... yet.
