I got alcantara kit. it replaces the area above the glove box with black alcantara (that says m performance in large white lettering) and the left side vent with a piece that has a tiny bit of alcantara on it. I can't find any other differences. (the kit says door handles but those were carbon to begin with for the m2, so maybe this is the same kit from the m235i?)
In my opinion the gearshift carbon kit is a must. I didn't originally get it and realized the cheap looking silver plastic trim around the gear shift, on the gearshift, and on the e-brake handle didn't match the rest of the interior.
