If you are talking about split screen on the center screen that is in the settings and you can get full screen. I can't remember 100% how, but I chose split screen once by mistake and it took me a few minutes to figure out what I had done to remove it.
Just went out to the garage...Press the 'Option' button that is located to the right side behind the control wheel on the center council. You will now see 'Split Screen' at the top of the screen. Press to remove check mark. You are now full screen.  |
I tried that. For some reason, that area on the right side is black with text that says “Apple CarPlay.” Maybe this is unique to google maps. I’ll try that with other built-in features.
