No worries...BMW has been a shitshow when it comes to this, I'm glad we have the forums.
FYI, heard back from two guys, both had upgrade done at dealer. They are not sure what they did, both weren't there.
EDIT: should also add that, when they bought the car, they were told they'd need to return to dealer for upgrade, FWIW. I wonder if El BAN could get his upgrade done in Canada.
