Just FYI, BMW owners have a stigma too
M-car owners are usually a bit different, but still fall victim to the BMW stigma due to the stealth nature of the M's.

Also, for rock chips, Paint Protection Film is the way to go. I do a lot of freeway driving and get lots of rock chips. My M2's getting PPF at this very moment
