The MPE is amazing on the OG M2 with the N55 engine. It sounds great.
I assume you want to always have the flaps open on the exhaust? That'll be super loud on a cold start in the garage!
But if thats what you want, you can just start up the car, open the flaps, then go into the trunk and disconnect the valve controller. Its under the trunk mat on the right hand side of the bottom, opposite from the battery. Should have a little toggle switch on it. Fairly certain if you unplug that, your exhaust valves will stay open 100% of the time.
