It also matters how picky you are. My wife, who DDs the M2 does not like the competition seats, they are too big for her. So that limited us to looking at OG M2s. I really don't like the LCI digital dash so pretty much that left us with only the 2017s to chose from since the total number of 2016s is tiny.
We ended up buying a 2017, December 2016 build, in November 2019. The car had just under 28k miles on it. We were looking for an LBB one and those were much less common than black or white on the used market and carried a definite price premium over the other colors as well.
We payed 42k +TTL from a dealer, I did need to put new tires on it so really it was 43k.
