Driving this M2 makes me feel young again. It has been over 30 years since I drove a manual transmission and I missed it, so I bought the M2 with 6MT. It is a blast to drive but with consequences....

I haven't received a speeding ticket in 20 years but got 1 on the first day with the M2. It is extremely challenging to stay under the speed limit. Most of the speed limits around Chicago Suburbs are between 25mph to 45mph. So by the time I was in the 3rd gear I had already reached the speeding limit.

I don't want to bore you with this post so I will stop here. But if you see an old man driving a blue M2, please move out of his way. He drives like a 25 years young man.

I attended the FLATOUT event in Tulsa this year... there were at least 2 M2 owners there that are certainly well into their 60s.. One is an instructor.

Depending on WHEN you drove a Trans Am in the 1980s.. one wouldn't necessarily have to be a senior citizen.. (assuming that begins at 55). I graduated in 1986 and I am not yet 50.
I am in the illinois burbs as well. If u see a grey Audi RS4 speeding along with you. it's more than likely me...Not until spring though. if there is salt on the road my car hibernates for the winter. have fun out there! congrats on the M2!
