Unfortunately it's going to be all ZF 8-speeds going forward for all BMW products so we just have to accept that. It's not a bad transmission and for the masses may be a better automatic for those that use it as a commuter. That said I'm kind of disappointed that the next M2 and M3/M4 will not have a proper DCT alternative to the 6-speed manual. |
Never personally drove a M5, but every review said the ZF is surprisingly just as good
