Brought the car into the dealership this morning to try and find the leak. Looks like the gunked grease and grime on the M Servotronics unit is a cosmoline like substance that is used to protect it from the elements. The M Servotronics unit is fine, but unfortunately I still had a leak on my garage floor that was coming from somewhere. Looks like both front shocks are leaking fluid.

This particular dealer installed a Dinan coilover kit for me last year. I will find out this afternoon what games they are planning to play with the blame, but either way it will get fixed. This is a BMW part that has failed and not the Dinan part they want to say caused it, but we will see. Never heard of anyone else having these go bad because of the coilover kit, I think they were just a defective part(s) from the factory. Both rear shocks were inspected are fine.
