Throwing in another data point:

I got an allocation for this quarter with a build date in November for likely December delivery at BMW of Dallas. Don't know exactly how many BMW of Dallas received but I'll try to ask my CA.

I officially put my name on the list in May but had been talking to him in January about wanting an M2 when I returned my 135is after the lease completed.

P.S. Car will be sold at MSRP. Per my CA, only the HEA car was sold for 10k over MSRP.
