Shorter springs are not required. There really isn't much room to go to a shorter spring anyway. The factory spring length has very few threads showing after pre-load is adjusted. 10 et20 will be close to the spring but may not need a spacer depending on the tire size/brand. What camber do you plan to run? If you are running in the -3 or more range you can add spacer without fender clearance issues. I run about -3.5 camber with Ohlins R&T (standard springs) and a 10.5 front with 275 hoosiers.
