135i and 335i with N54 with MPE sounds pretty similar.
Which is basicly my point.
N55 will always sound like an N55
N54 will always sound like an N54
Maybe a little bit different, based on the exhaust setup but you can hear the characteristic
(dont get me wrong, i really like the N55 and N54).
S55 will never be able to sound like an N55 or N54.
You can hear an S55 from miles away and still be able to tell that it is an S55.
Same goes for engines like Merc 4.0T V8, VAG 4.0TFSI etc.
Every engine got his own sound, which is awesome
