We'll be there the evening of (Wed) Sept. 19. OTOH, if the Welt staff does confirm (and puts it in writing) that US customers can drive on the Ring under BMW insurance, then we'll probably do a tourist lap.
Speaking of bucket list items, I REALLY want to drive 150mph on the Autobahn, but we'll be in break-in mode the whole trip. My personal best is 125mph, according to the speedo of an Audi A4 TDi wagon we rented some years ago. Oh well.  |
