I can confirm that the move from 5000-7500rpms in the M2C is not only fun as heck, but you better have your act together especially with DSC off and in 1st or 2nd gear. I understand the rush to a peak that a normally aspirated beast motor has...I also have an E90 M3 and back-to-back drive them all the time. I was specifically commenting on your comment about the M2C "what the point if the power remains constant from 5250rpm" -- the point is that car is a beast in that power range and accelerates like a crazy. Area under the power curves matters and matter a lot. The M2C pulls strongly well past 7k rpms and actually feels more like a normally aspirated motor than the N55.
