I picked up a screw on my right rear PSS (with 400 miles
). According to the Michelin owners manual, Discount Tire (who performed the repair per recommended procedures) and a TireRack blog, the original speed rating on the tire is maintained.
I have an HPDE in December and want to avoid surprises. Anyone know whether a repaired tire can be a reason to fail inspection? Or are they only looking for sufficient tire thread?
