The GTS is over £10,000 more than an M2C here. That BMW gets something that competitive out of a budget mini sedan compared to Porsche’s bespoke, single-minded chassis is remarkable. Remember, the base car of a 718 GTS is a 718; the base car of an M2 is a 218i three-pot, itself based on a shortened 3-series.
