I think I know a bit of your story as the sales manager at my dealer relayed a similar story to me while we were working through my issues. This is a crappy situation.
Based on how my dealer was handling me, I can assure you they were trying hard to make this work. While we were looking for suitable replacements for my M2C, in case I decided not to accept my repaired one, we found one at a dealer in the Los Angeles area. They made many phone calls to this dealer, who never returned calls even after BMWNA intervention.
I hope things start looking up soon.
