From the image you provided I don't believe that it will be written off unless the roof (not shown) is visibly twisted from the impact.

Now I am sure you know that even if they managed to straighten the frame of the car to the factory spec and fully repair it, the structural integrity of the frame has already been compromised. As such I am sure you know it's best to move on from this car once you have regain your clarity of thought.

Just going to wait and see what the insurance company and bodyshop say. find it really hard to think clearly in a situation like this but you are right. many thanks for your reply
