I also recommend getting a crank seal plate as well, just incase water makes its way down to the serpentine belt and causes it to slip. It is an unlikely occurance but it could happen.

Yeah, all the race cars and high end sports cars have vents, but placement and size is key.
It’s a nice cosmetic upgrade as well, and I wondered if either style was also a simple engine temp bang for the buck upgrade compared to other cooling alternatives being thrown out.
