You pay more for the warranty and support direct from BMW. I rode in a car equipped with them (Phil's from DetailersDomain) and they rode essentially just like stock. You can't beat that. I've had some (anecdotal) bad experiences with suspension that wasn't OEM but using the same parts as OEM suspension and it never rode as well. BMW has a different set of tolerances than a generic KW set in terms of ride quality and performance.
