Cable wasn't routed behind heat shield but behind the whole block.
Shouldn't really overheat down there but maybe that's the issue.
Either that or faulty unit. |
So I checked mine and both valves open. The easiest way I could find to check it was to just start the car and put my ear next to the pipes on each side and switch the valves between opened/closed several times using the key fob remote that came with the VSC-2.
