Seems like the change must be worth a little time as cars can now stay on power for longer over this stretch.
Maybe it's negligible, but when we're comparing so many cars from so many generations, any variation to the course like this is worth mentioning.

I'm not aware of physical changes they made to those sections. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think they have not changed anything...
