In case anyone else here was stupid enough to pay for CarPlay before the "freebies for all!" announcement, I was just refunded the $300 today that I'd paid back in October of last year.
I sent a support note saying that I'd paid just prior to the announcement and requesting a refund, they responded w/in a day, got an email about 2 weeks ago, and refund hit today
