BT controls the flaps on the oustside lines, the two black boxes which can be seen in the post here

The MPE has not a flap controlled by the status of the comfort/sport/sport+ switch. It seems the difference in the sound just comes from the additional burples, crackles if sport/sport+ is used but no extra flap. Thanks ///Mē for clarification.
