Taking 40lbs out of the back accounts for a 2.25% change. Nothing to be concerned about.
Edit: To explain further cause what I said was confusing. The rear of my car last time it was weighed was 1775lbs. Taking 40lbs would be a 2.25% change to the rear.
It would change my car from being 52/48 distribution to 52.6/47.4
I didn't mean it changes the weight distribution by 2.25%.
