This seems to be the defacto argument. Yet, nowhere does it indicate that quality will be decreased if production is moved to Mexico.
Companies moving manufacturing offshore follows the same principles as their home country. The only thing a company is taking advantage of is labor arbitrage. Quality does not necessary suffer. In fact, when new manufacturing plants are built from the ground up, it typically increases in quality than a manufacturing plant that was designed years ago.
I know it's still hard for some people to differentiate the country of origin and quality, but it's not founded in facts.
