Great advice.
BMC filter is oil'd. Oil getting into the intake = Dirty MAF sensor and eventual fault codes/CEL.
Air scoops can cause air turbulence. While they are good in theory, most don't actually help airflow, they hurt it.
What would actually help our cars would be a ram air intake system where the filters are actually directly in the path of oncoming cold air
