From what I've seen newer cars are going longer and longer between the jack points. I'd get the EXT instead of the SLX for future proofing. An SLX won't fit between the jack points on the new G20 3-series, so it might not fit between the next 2-series either. The current generation Accord and Civic jack points are also already too long for the SLX.
