Maybe they have changed their formula. I have never heard that it was any good as you can google Chevron 94 Vancouver and you will see GTR forum talk, heck even one here although a bit dated but the same findings;

Regardless our gasoline is not as good as US gasoline in general and it's why a lot of canned tunes from the US don't run as well on Canadian vehicles. Cobb tuning started recommending Canadians to run their 91 ACN California maps with STI's running their maps even if you have 94 Canadian gasoline available and I can verify a lot of knock on Husky 94 with Cobb 91 regular maps until I got a pro-tune then I was good to go.
