Were you running any data / telemetry? Curious what times you're running and your speed on the front straight and at the top of the hill before braking for the 'screw.

As for squishy brakes, I'd say you cooked the fluid. Castrol SRF is pretty solid and I'd do a full flush with that for the next track outing. Also, sounds like you are a quick driver so brake pads may also be in order. Pagid Yellow (RS29) is a popular track pad that works well on the street as well (except for the noise).
