Undoubtedly you refer to the sturdy foam part pictured below.
Ha, I knew that question would pop up someday. All you gotta do is to simply forget about that foam part: fit all the tools
without that foam part (leave it out of the car). It's just puzzling together the positions of the tools with some trial & error. Inside my car all provided tools + manuals + MPE valve module nicely fit inside the battery compartment under the boot panel. Nothing lying around on the boot panel.
On the other hand, my car docs itself (except for the manual) never remain inside my car when I'm out of it (whenever I step out of my car, my car docs are out too - always).
