WHAT!!!!!!! Ive never heard or experienced that.. ever! I shot with a 70-200 at 70mm and ad f/4 and got some sick ass bokeh. I cannot duplicate the same dof with my 17-40L

one of the main reasons why an 85mm or a 135mm is a great portrait lens. Bc of the bokeh it gives off isolating the subject from the background.
