Worth going from 245/265 to 255/275 on a 2020 M2C?

Guys--

A little help?

I'm considering swapping out tires when my 2020 M2C finally arrives. I expect it to show up wearing Michelin Pilot Super Sports in (obviously) 245/35/19 and 265/35/19.

I'm **considering** swapping the rubber out with Michelin PS4S in a +1: 255/35/19 and 275/35/19. they're within 1% of the stock rolling diameter and I **think** they'll fit on OEM wheels with OEM suspension with no rubbing.

The reasons I'm considering this are:

1. Rim protection with the slightly wider tire (theory being that with the slightly wider rubber, you'll end up with a bit more rash protection).

2. Ride compliance, as the 35 aspect ratio will be slightly larger.

3. Better traction on the rear (broke the rears on the test car loose with very little effort-- I'd like to be able to plant the rear a bit more).

The car will NOT be a track vehicle-- but rather a "weekend/date night" toy, so I have no plans to modify the suspension or go with aftermarket wheels.

Thoughts? Is this a reasonable idea? Or am I wasting money?

TIA--

R.
