Auto-Lock is standard on all new G-Generation BMWs, with Comfort Access.
As you walk away from the vehicle, it auto-locks and as you get back closer, it unlocks, with the Welcome Lights.
It sounds cool in theory but in practice, it can get annoying; everytime you walk by your car, in the garage or on the street, you hear the vehicle unnecessarily locking/unlocking. I switch it off and went back old school, door handle methods, à la the M2's MO.
