If I had an S55 I would 100% BM3 the shit out of it. The S55 platform is WAYYYY more tunable than the N55. S55 will break the 500 barrier with DP and Tune while the N55 will struggle to break 400 with the same mods. Current M2 just isn't really as good of a tuning platform. N54/B58/S55 are much better in that aspect.
