the early m4s had too much tq in the early rpms and would cause snap oversteer in corners. The later models BMW tuned the tq to come in later in a more progressive manner.
The n55 m2 will seem more balanced compared to the m2 competition in my opinion. i would test drive both if your interested in the m2.
The m2 has a shorter wheel base compared to the m4 so the m2 competition will feel more looser rear end compared to the m4.
