I've got the same setup as Andrew and think it's pretty much perfect. Our motorway speeds are only 100-110km/h in Australia and I notice no drone whatsoever with the valves open or shut.

Admittedly on the motorway I'm generally in comfort with the valves shut and in 7th. I believe it's no louder than the stock setup when at motorway speeds. ASD delete probably helps make it seem quieter.
