ok, got that confused with the go pro thing.
So was I , and I still am.

I thought that there was a go pro app available for the vehicle via BMW APPS.

I was hoping to use the BMW APP to control my Hero 4 from the M2. We searched but could not find how to download apps to the car.

the BMW M analyzer can record Audio and video from the track. If you place your phone camera on the dash it will record video ala Harry's lap timer and overlay the car data on that video.

So, rather than buy a GoPro and a solo DL, the Bluetooth dongle and your phone and an app from the Apple Store or android store is all you need.

here is me discovering it would work in the 1m

The go pro and the Bmw app will work together coming later this summer if I am not mistaken.
