R4S is a performance street pad. DS2500 is a hybrid street/track pad. You will have a lot more bite with the DS2500 on and off of the track. Just keep in mind that DS2500 is not a full track pad so you still can't push it too hard on the track.
Thanks. I overheated and cracked the R4S in the canyons so I'm going for full on track/sprint pads this week.

R4S simply didn't hold up for aggressive street use.
