I was on the list for the first M2C allocation from the dealership that I had purchased my last car from. It was secured with $1000 charged to my credit card even before its official announcement. It was ED so I wanted it to be delivered in time for Oktoberfest. I got a call from them about 3 weeks after it was in the press. "I'm so sorry there's been a mix-up. You will be #2 on the list." I was able to get info from another SA that they had given the first allocation to a local through the "good ole boy" system. He didn't even give a deposit. I went ballistic. They ended up finding me an allocation but I know it was not #1. I had an insider at BMW NA check their allocations. Through the BMW ED rep at NA they moved up my allocation by 2 months so I could do my Oktoberfest ED. The moral to the story is that you can't trust them.
