Yes, only one shift, 2nd is long enough, and a second shift would allow things down a hell of a lot.
You can see the log of my 5.12s run earlier in the thread, the gear change there is obvious.
My feeling right now is that if the following is possible, 4.3 might be achievable:
- Decent 93 octane fuel
- Grippy surface and tyres
- Perfectly timed launch
- Perfect revs before launch
- No lift shift from 1st to 2nd
- One foot run out
