There are a number of variables that I didn't share. It was easy to spot the outliers when using different tires between tracks. Other variables that created identifiable differences were power and aero The point is that it was reasonably easy to quantify. You can practically write a formula for cars that fall within various groups to predict times from one track to the other with a couple of seconds. Not to bad. Had I used more data points and plotted results I could do even better. This was just arm chair and calculator.
