I got to flog an M235i at a local bmw driving event and the steering in sport mode was close enough to the steering in my M2 that I can't really tell a difference. I'm sure if I drop them back to back I might be able to tell. Overall, it just didn't feel as sharp, but that's both a pro and a con depending on if you're driving it spirited or if you're just commuting.
